jVantage CE

jVantage Community Edition (CE) is an open source project that is presently at Release Candidate status (RC1). It is hosted on SourceForge, and is available as a prebuilt EAR file or in source code form via CVS.

Enhancements currently slated for the Community Edition are as follows. Note that completion of these enhancements may not correspond to any predetermined release schedule, meaning jVantage CE may go to RC2 or production stable status prior to implementation of any or all of the following.

• Completion and improvement of documentation; including Javadoc and developer guides.
• Simplified upgrade capabilities.
• Rich Internet Application (RIA) interfaces based on OpenLaszlo.
• Simplified and improved theme creation and management, including built-in Ajax controls to streamline application user interfaces.

jVantage Professional

A professional version of jVantage will be commercially released by late spring or early summer 2007. It will offer features not included in the Community Edition; most notably, support for most leading databases, enhanced support and functionality. For licensing information, click here.
